Tristan Kerr founded DQ Construction Inc. to bridge a common gap in the industry—the recurrent disconnect between high-level project oversight and on-site execution. At the age of 17, Tristan began developing and refining his carpentry skills through various DIY projects, the construction of his own recording studio, and residential renovation projects. This early passion for the trades, seeing an idea evolve into a successful high-quality build, became the backbone of his professional career.
While continuing his work as an independent contractor, he formalized his expertise, earning an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology alongside Post-Graduate Certificates in both Construction Estimating and Project Management. Since 2015, Tristan has led various complex projects across sectors—managing numerous project portfolios and maintenance programs across the country for some of Canada’s most notable brands.
The 2025 Evolution
Tristan has continued to work in the trades throughout his career, taking on many hybrid roles within the construction industry. His dedication, commitment, vision, and passion led him to lean into his vision of creating a more integrated construction experience during the global shifts of the pandemic. Today, that vision has fully matured.
